Description

The Zwilling Prof S paring and garnishing knife 130 mm has a blade that is forged from a single piece of steel and extends completely into the plastic handle. The knife is made of FRIODUR steel. This is a special technique in which the blade is additionally hardened by a deep-freeze process, which ensures greater durability, long-lasting sharpness and excellent resistance to rust.

The 13 cm long blade is perfect for cutting small to medium-sized ingredients. Ideal for finely chopping herbs, peeling onions and garlic, and easily cutting up fruit, vegetables and even smaller pieces of meat. With the Zwilling Prof S Paring and Garnishing Knife 130 mm you can take your culinary skills to the next level, whether you are a professional chef or an enthusiastic home chef.

The blade is made of ice-hardened Friodur steel, where the steel is heated to 1000ºC and cooled to -70ºC in four stages. This method, perfected by Zwilling, guarantees optimum sharpness, durability, elasticity and rust resistance. The knife is sharpened in five stages for a perfect result. The bolster does not extend to the cutting edge, making it easy to sharpen the knife on a whetstone.

Maintenance
Each Zwilling knife is carefully balanced to provide maximum control and comfort. Although these knives will stay sharp for a long time, regular maintenance is essential to maintain optimum performance. Use a sharpening steel or Japanese whetstone to keep the knife itself sharp for best results.

Cleaning
The seamless construction and high-quality materials make the knives from the Zwilling Prof S series dishwasher-safe. However, we advise against this, as detergent and the collision in the dishwasher can accelerate the wear and damage of the knife.

Hand wash the knife in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Allow the knife to air dry briefly before storing safely.

Warranty
Zwilling offers a lifetime warranty on this product, which covers manufacturing and material defects. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by normal use, overheating, misuse, failure to follow maintenance instructions, discoloration from the dishwasher, dropping, impact, transportation or improper storage.
