The Ame Chef's Knife 21 cm with Rain Pattern is characterized as a powerful, strong and traditional knife of high quality. The Ame knives are equipped with a beautiful blade with an elegant Rain Pattern. The literal Japanese translation of Rain Pattern is Ame, there is no more accurate name.
- 5-layer AUS10 Steel
- Unique knives, no one is the same
- Ergonomic handle for long cutting pleasure
- Hardened to 60 HRC
Beautiful handle
The Ame knives are characterized by their unique handle with Rain Pattern. The beautiful handle is made of Masur. Masur is a birch in which the annual rings grow in different directions - instead of vertically as usual with a tree. Masur is highly sought after because it is incredibly beautiful and considerably harder than normal wood.
Handmade in detail
Because the knives are handmade, attention has been paid to every detail during production. This way you get the best quality Japanese knives.
A real all-rounder
Gyuto is the Japanese term for Western chef's knives like this one. It has a slightly lower profile than Japanese chef's knives (Santoku) with a sharper end to the blade. A gyuto goes well with vegetables, fish, poultry and meat.
